The cryptocurrency Quantum (QTUM) aims to combine the best of two worlds: The solid and proven architecture of Bitcoin meets the dynamic possibilities of Ethereum.
In this article we explain the easiest way (and with the lowest fees) to buy Quantum. We also explain whether you can buy Quantum with e.g. Sofortüberweisung, credit card, Paypal or other payment methods.

After your deposit has arrived in your Libertex account, you can finally buy quantum on Libertex.
To do this, simply select the Quantum (QTM/USD) trading pair and open your position by clicking on the Buy button.
Now you have to decide whether you prefer to use the “Limit” or the “Market” function. With the limit function, you can determine that your buy order will only be valid if – and only if – the quantum price reaches a value determined by you.
If he does not get it, your order will be cancelled after some time. To do this, click on the “Limit” button above the purchase screen, set the desired quantum rate and confirm the order by clicking on the green “Buy” button. When the desired quantum rate is reached, your money will automatically be exchanged for quantum.
Or you can choose the market option and simply buy the QTUM coin at the current quantum price. To do this, click on “Market” above the buy screen instead of “Limit”. By clicking on the green “Buy” field, your order is finalised. Your Quantum Coins will then appear in your profile balance on Libertex shortly afterwards.
Buy Quantum Germany: Many stock exchanges have Quantum in their programme. That’s why investors have to decide which one is right for them. This depends, for example, on your investment form:
Do you want to buy the Quantum Coin – or do you want to invest in Quantum CFDs on a broking platform?
The following sections will show you both options in detail. Choose the one that suits you best and follow our instructions to buy quantum. We also show you a number of alternatives for buying quantum with fiat money, for example. Let’s go!
Libertex is not a pure crypto service. Rather, the forex and CFD broker is suitable for trading all kinds of values and thus also for buying quantum. Above all, Libertex is suitable for daily trading of the quantum coin.
In comparison, the particularly favourable fees of only 3.5% for Quantum trades stand out. That is why Libertex is our favourite for buying Quantum.

Disclaimer : 75% of private CFD accounts lose money. Buy cryptocurrencies: Cryptocurrencies are a highly volatile, unregulated investment product. No EU investor protection.
To buy Quantum or not, that is the big question. Quantum is still at the concept stage. Moreover, Quantum’s currency itself has no concrete use case. However, the Quantum exchange rate can indicate what value investors attach to the project.
If Quantum delivers what it promises, the Quantum price may rise. It is also conceivable that when the market recovers from its long winter and cryptocurrency prices start to rise again, the Quantum price will benefit.
It seems more likely for the moment that cryptocurrency prices will continue to fall. Anyone wondering whether to buy the Quantum cryptocurrency should follow the Quantum news regularly and keep up to date with the market in general.
Savvy investors can achieve high returns with Quantum even if cryptocurrency prices continue to fall by investing in CFDs instead of the currency.
We have described how this works with the broker Libertex in the first large section on this page. Please be aware of the high risk associated with trading CFDs and only invest what you can afford to lose in the event of an accident.
To show the charges when buying Quantum, let’s take the following example:
With these assumptions, the following fees are incurred by our test winner:

Quantum has had its share of ups and downs since the ICO in 2017. We show the most important milestones in Quantum’s history.
Do I need a quantum wallet or not? Well, a Quantum Wallet is not an absolute must for trading Quantum’s cryptocurrency QTUM. It is possible to leave your Quantum Coins in your account on Binance or another crypto exchange.
But there is a lot to be said against relying only on the stock market. Because if the exchange goes bankrupt or is hacked, it is possible that you will lose your cryptocurrencies. That’s why it’s not necessary to use a quantum wallet – but it’s smarter.
You can find the official Quantum Wallet on the project homepage. It is available as a desktop wallet, smartphone app and browser wallet.
If you want to buy quantum, you can simply do so with CFDs at our test winner Libertex. Alternatively, you can also invest directly in quantum – here we recommend buying with Binance.
You can buy Quantum with Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin or credit card on Binance. You can buy quantum on the platforms described above via Sofortüberweisung, SEPA and other payment methods, but you may have to exchange it for quantum on Binance afterwards.
Buying quantum with a credit card or exchanging quantum for bitcoin, ether or litecoin is particularly quick on Binance because Binance does not require verification. Alternatively, you can speculate on price movements with CFDs at crypto brokers like Capital.com using leverage. This way, you can still earn returns even if the quantum price falls.
Buy Quantum with a credit card? You can do this on Binance or Changelly, for example.
Binance has the advantage that no separate quantum wallet is required. This does not apply to Changelly. You can also buy Quantum with a credit card in a roundabout way by first buying Bitcoin with a credit card and then exchanging it for the cryptocurrency QTUM. How to do this is described in our instructions at the top of this page.
Unfortunately, buying quantum with Paypal is not possible on any of the exchanges we use.
Quantum is expected to benefit when the market as a whole starts to grow again.
Whether and when this will happen, on the other hand, is not foreseeable.
Not mandatory, but we recommend it. A Quantum wallet protects you from eventualities such as unexpected insolvency or hacker attacks on your exchange platform. Without a wallet, you can hold Quantum on Binance, for example.
This depends on whether your wallet supports the cryptocurrency Quantum. In our experience, this is generally not the case for QTUM.
If in doubt, it is advisable to ask the provider directly. Most wallets now support multiple coins.
